Instead of spending $50+ on costumes that they won't wear for long I decided to make their costumes and I think they turned out pretty well. They were PB&J this year and they can actually wear everything again so big plus for me. You can't see it in the pictures but their hats have jelly and peanut butter jars on them. They were a huge hit while we were out so I think I am going to continue with some kind of this and that theme the next couple of years.

I think you did an AMAZING job on their costumes. How original!! I am glad they had such a fun experience for their very first Trick Or Treating.
ReplyDeleteWe hope you enjoy the rest of your fall, and keep us posted on how you are doing!
Haha, I love it! That's a great costume idea! And what a little man already - spreading his legs out & squishing the girl... don't ALL guys do that? Drives me nuts. I mean, do your legs really need 3' of space? Mine are taking up about 8".. really. Sorry, end rant. :-)
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute idea! My mom used too make all of my costumes too. I also like the idea of trunk or treating. I don't blame you for not wanting to deal with weirdos.
